Intensity-Magnitude: as intensity of US increases, magnitude of elicited UR increases.
Latency- as US intensity increases, latency to appearance of elicited UR decreases
Definition of latency = measure of amount of time that passes between two events.
Threshold- region of uncertainty where 50% of stimulus produces a response
Know the difference between fixed action pattern and reaction chain.
FAP: hard to stop, genetic.
Reaction chain: similar to FAP , each event requires a certain stimulus.
