to TB patients, TB symptomatic and communities by
healthcare institutions and providers
Objective B: Enhance the health seeking behaviour on TB by
communities especially the TB symptomatic.
Objective C: Increase and sustain support and financing for
TB control activities.

AIDS/HIV
Objectives:
1. Contain prevalence of HIV/AIDS among general population less
than one year per 100000 population by the end of 2010.
2. Contain prevalence of HIV/AIDS among high risk or more in less
than 3%
3. Contain the prevalence of HIV/AIDS among pregnant women ages
15-24 years
4. Reduce incidence of gonorrhoea among high risk of more
vulnerable population
5. Reduce the transmission of STIs in the general population and
among vulnerable group by 12% or less. And condom use rate at
least to high risk sex by 80%

To attain its goal, the program employs the following strategies:
1. Provision of Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) to all Animal Bite Treatment
Centers (ABTCs)
2. Provision of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to high risk individuals and
school children in high incidence zones

DENGUE
Vision:
Objectives:
The objectives of the program are categorized into three: health status objectives; risk
reduction objectives; and services & protection objectives.
Reduce the risk of human exposure to aedes bite by House index of <5 and Breteau
index of 20;
Increase % of HH practicing removal of mosquito breeding places to 80%; and
Increase awareness on DF/DHF to 100%.
