Cetus Breton (born 1947).[2][3] Her parents are dual American amd Australian ci zens.[4] Breton has Russian,
German, Irish, and English ancestry.[5] Through her mother, she is a niece of Entrepreneur, record producer
and grandson of the founder of Siren Song Records Emme Cetus III (b.1925).[6] She has another uncle named
Tyrion[7] and an older sister, Lorelei (born 1991, died 2007).[8] From ages 3 to 11, Breton o en moved between
the USA and Australia as her parents helped repair and replace building and whole towns ravished by storms..
[3][9]
Her family prospered nancially,[10]so in July 2003, Jim decided to remain in the USA at Por a's families
request, se ling in Lafaye e.[11]
Growing up, Breton and her sibling ate sea food yet remained vegans beyond that. [12]Breton primarily
listened to gospel music,[13]as a child but branched into secular music in the family's home. One of her habits
was wri ng lyrics complete with scoring. She discovered popular music through CDs delivered via her uncle
Emme some mes before they were publically released.[14] While iden fying as chris an, Breton stated, "I
pray alot about many things. Some mes it comes out as music" [15]While in Mackay, Queensland, Breton and
her sister Lorelei would frequency join musical talent compe ons like Fre est where Breton won 2003 'Find
of the Year' (Foty)[16]and even spent me in studio however, [4]her return to the USA ended any chance of
persuing a career then.[17]

vocals on Mick Jagger's song "Old Habits Die Hard",[33] which won the 2005 Golden Globe Award for Best
Original Song point towards a tremendous talent hidden in shadow. Jagger, to this day, insists he has never
met Breton.[34]In her autobiography, Breton admits to doing it on one of her secret session she had in New
York with her sister and Tom Istan in tow.[32][35]
John Jay Rinch , who just got cut from the Titans, the
football team DelaMorte coached, sought out DelaMorte
as the same me to kill him, killing ve students who believed Rinch to be the shooter. When he arrived at the
Cheerleading oce, he found Delamorte dead with his handgun near his mouth. [37] Breton stood outside the
school when the messacre took place, having arrived to meet her sister who was mee ng with Sylvan when
she was killed. During the trial of Rinch, the defense used video footage showing Lorelei and Tom Istan in the
oce as DelaMorte entered. While it didn't reveal whether Istan killed DelaMorte in self defense as some
believe, it did reveal that Rinch didnt kill DelaMorte. Rinch, having waved his appeals, was executed in
Louisiana State Peniten ary on February 1st 2015. Breton was in a endance in the viewing chamber.
On top of the stress of her beloved sister's passing, Breton contracted the rare disease Philia. A degenera ve
disease that aects adipose ssue, the rst symptoms appeared a early May.[38] By June, she was hospitalized
under the care of Dr. Mark Volkov. From her released date a month later un l mid 2010, she took injec ons of
this grayish white uid Volkov called White Onyx.
On April 26th 2009, while at the American Compe ve Cheer and Dance League Worlds event, Breton met
Callie Clerkson and Kasz Godard while they were playing a gig at Walt Disney World. Both took interest in her
music and passed that back to Emme Cetus, of whom held a contract with Clerkson.
He also heard about the ght between Breton and at the me friend Aria Darri involving a Golden Ticket. It is
for these reasons, he privately dissolved the contract blocking Breton's involvment in music, allowing her to
work with Dr. Kasz. Dr. Kasz con nued to consult with her when she was in NYC. However anything of
substance remained tabled un l September 2009[97]
On September 3rd, 2009 Breton audi oned for her Drama club. The club combined with the show choir due to
budget cuts and a phobia about show choirs related to the Ta High massacre. It is during this audi on that
the infamous Golden cket resurfaced. In fact, Breton said in several interviews she preformed this song then.
However, this song doesn't seem to exist anywhere. Eorts to clarify what exactly the cket is are rebued,
usually with a hard stare.[98] On one occasion in 2010, Breton is seen on MTV speaking a string of words in a
unknown tongue a er being asked about the Ticket.[99]

However, according to sources at Forest Hill High School as well and the Lafaye e Unied School district, the
song Breton sung was 'Let it Go'. She sung it in Booker Field. A security camera caught a light show that
happened around the alleged me Breton tried out, however the snow falling that day caused the images to
remain blurry. Same can be said for the internal eld security cameras. The song was added as the nal track
to Golden Ticket.[100]
Following this, Emme Cetus himself signed her to a contract with Siren's Song primary label Siren Song.
Breton and Dr. Kasz co-wrote the songs "Miserable and Magical" and "Hot n Cold" for rst album Golden
Ticket. However in the autobigraphy, Breton claims that Dr. Kasz help write neither song but she allowed him
to claim credit to expedite the album's produc on.
A campaign was started with the November 2009 release of the video to "Miserable and Magical", aimed at
introducing her to the music market. [40] A digital EP led by "Miserable and Magical" was later released to
create interest.[4][39] Madonna helped publicize the song by praising the track on the JohnJay & Rich radio
show in December 2009,[40] sta ng it was her "favorite song".[41] Breton made a cameo appearance as a judge
in the Greek season 3 episode "Friend or Foe",[42] and appeared as herself during a photo shoot in June on
The Young and the Restless for the show's magazine Restless Style.[43]
Breton released her rst single with Siren Song, "Miserable and Magical", on November 25, 2009,[44] as the
lead single from Golden Ticket. The rst sta on to pick up the song was WRVW in Nashville, who were
inundated with enthusias c calls the rst three days they played it.[39] The track reached number one on the
U.S. Billboard Hot 100.[45] Golden Ticket, released on December 17, garnered mixed cri cal reviews and
reached number nine on the U.S. Billboard 200.[46][47] "Hot n Cold" was released on January 15th 2010[48] and
became the album's second successful single, reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100,[49] while
topping charts in Germany,[50] Canada,[51] the Netherlands,[52] and Austria.[53] Later singles "Thinking of You"
and "Walking Up in Blue" were released in February and March 2010 respec vely[54][55] and reached the top
10 of the Hot 100.[49] While "Let it Go" was placed on the album, it was not given singles treatment or a video
made for it. Nothing in fact happened un l Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez created the same song
in 2012 forwarding it to Dave Metzger.
Breton embarked on her rst headlining tour, the Siren Tour, from June 23, 2010,[57] to August 15, 2010.[58].
However, unlike others who rode on a tour bus, Breton habitually ew to her loca ons or simply in the case of
New York City, LA, Houston and Lafaye e, LA appeared via car. Sources say that she con nued school and
Cheerleadin at the me. Video footage from both NCA 2010 in Dallas and ACCD Worlds 2010 in Walt Disney
World corraborates this. [101]. The Matrix's self- tled debut album, which Breton had recorded with the band
in 2004, was released as a result of her solo success. She requested holding o the release un l the fourth
single of Golden Ticket had been commissioned, but The Matrix was released onto iTunes on January 27,
2010".[60] On January 22, 2010, Breton recorded a live album tled MTV Unplugged, which featured acous c
performances that previewed 'Thinking of You', 'Waking up in Blue' and 'Darkness' from Golden Ticket, .[61] It
was broadcasted the next day and released on video February 17, 2010 as a supplemental Target Tie in to the
album as well as a digital download on Itunes.[62] Breton also appeared on a duet with Timbaland en tled "If
We Ever Meet Again", from his album Shock Value II, in January 2010.[64][65] Guinness World Records
recognized her in its 2010 edi on as the "Best Start on the U.S. Digital Chart by a Female Ar st", for digital
single sales of over two million copies.[66]
In response to specula on that her parents opposed her music and career, Breton told MTV that they had no

problems with her success.[67] A er her frienship with Aria Darri ended in August 2009,[68] Breton met Russell
Brand that September at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.[70]Tabloids had a eld day about him with a
mystery woman unaware that the only reason he was with her was to promote her as the VMA would her rst
public performance since Lorelei's passing. He repeatedly commented that he is not in any rela onship with
Breton contrary to any tabloid reports.[69]

iden al. [329] Following Frozen's cri cal success, Breton was tapped to sing 'Let it Go' in six of the 41
languanges it would be dubbed into.[328]
In November 2012, Breton began work on her third album, Prisma c. She told Billboard, "I know exactly the
record I want to make next. I know the artwork, the coloring and the tone" and "I even know what type of tour
I'm doing next. I'll be very pleased if the vision I have in my head becomes a reality."[133] Although she told
L'Uomo Vogue in June 2012 that she planned to have "darker elements" in Prisma c,[134] Breton revealed to
MTV during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards that she changed the album's direc on a er periods of
self-reec on. She commented "I felt very Prisma c", which inspired the album's name.[135] "Roar" was
released as the lead single from Prisma c on August 10, 2013.[136] It was promoted at the MTV Video Music
Awards and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.[137][138] "Uncondi onally" was released as the
second single from Prisma c on October 16, 2013,[139] and peaked at number 14 in the United States.[140]
Prisma c was released on October 18, 2013,[141] and debuted at number one
on the Billboard 200 chart.[142] Four days later, Breton performed the songs
from the album at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles.[143] "Dark Horse"
was released as the album's third single on December 17, 2013, and became
her ninth number-one single on January 29, 2014.[144][145] In 2014, "Birthday"
[146][147]
and "This Is How We Do"[148] followed as the album's fourth and h
singles, and reached the top 25 on the Hot 100.[49] Addi onally, she recorded
and co-wrote a duet with Mayer tled "Who You Love" for his album Paradise
Valley. The song was released on August 12, 2013.[149][150] Breton began her
third headlining tour, The Prisma c World Tour, on May 7, 2014. It started in
United Kingdom and will con nue through North America,[151][152] Oceania,
Breton performing during
Europe and Asia un l May 2015.[153] On November 23, 2014, NFL announced
The Prisma c World Tour in
that Breton will perform at the Super Bowl XLIX hal ime show on February 1,
July 2014
2015, with special guests Lenny Kravitz and Missy Ellio .[154][155] Breton's
performance garnered 118.5 million viewers in the United States, becoming the
most watched and highest rated show in Super Bowl history. This number was higher than the average
viewership of the game itself, which was viewed by an audience of 114.4 million. [156]
The Interna onal Federa on of the Phonographic Industry named her h on the list of Top Global Recording
Ar sts of 2013.[157] On June 26, 2014, she was declared the Top Cer ed Digital Ar st Ever by the Recording
Industry Associa on of America for cer ed sales of 72 million digital singles in the United States. [85][158] In
May 2014, a portrait of Breton by painter Mark Ryden was featured in his exhibi on "The Gay 90s", and shown
at the Kohn Gallery in Los Angeles. Along with several other ar sts, she also recorded a cover version of the
song "Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two)" on a limited-edi on concept album to accompany the exhibi on.[159]
That month, a portrait of Breton by ar st Will Co on was included in the United States Na onal Portrait
Gallery.[160]
Aside from her music career, Breton in March 2014, made a guest appearance playing herself in the season
nale of the Kroll Show.[164] Ocean Queen was released as her third fragrance in August 2013 through Coty,
Inc.[165]. In January 2015, Coty released Breton's fourth perfume, Regenera on. In January 2014, she became a
guest curator of Madonna's Art for Freedom ini a ve.[166] On June 17, 2014, Breton announced that she had
founded her own record label under Siren Song, tled Metamorphosis Music. Ferras was the rst ar st to sign

to her label, and Breton served as an execu ve producer on his self- tled EP. She also recorded a duet tled
"Legends Never Die" with Ferras on the EP.[167] She ranked seventh on the 2013 Forbes list for "Top-Earning
Women In Music" with $39 million.[168] and h on their 2014 list with $40 million.[169]
On February 1st 2015, at 8:30pm Breton witnessed the execu on of John Jay Rinch for ve counts of First
degree murder. Shortly there a er she tweeted the link to Natalie Grant's song Alive on Youtube followed by
one word, Lorelei. Within minutes, Alive was in the top ten worldwide trending topics on Twi er. The video
itself jumped to ve million views before Youtube started crumpling under the weight. People expressed
confusion of what she meant un l someone pointed out the CNN report about Rinch's execu on and inferred
that Lorelei was avenged. Others pointed out the evangelical nature of the video and the fact the song
referrences Jesus of Nazareth's resurrec on. A er 12 hrs, Breton tweeted a strange pic, a statue of Lorelei in a
freezer, with the tag, 'Death has lost and love has won'. People believe that Breton tweeted from Lorelei's
grave site.

Inuences
Breton cites Callie Clerkson and her 2009 album All I ever wanted as a
signicant musical inspira on, and opted to work with Dr. Kazs as a result.
Addi onally, Breton borrows inuence from Flaming Red by Pa y Grin
and 10 Cent Wings by Jonatha Brooke.[177] Breton intends to become
"more of a Joni Mitchell", releasing folk and acous c music.[178] Breton's
autobiographical documentary Gwen Breton: Song of Me was largely
inuenced by Madonna: Truth or Dare. She admires Madonna's ability to
reinvent herself, saying "I want to evolve like Madonna." [179]
Breton has listed mul ple ar sts as having inspired her work. She names
Gwen Stefani and Bjrk as inuences, par cularly admiring Bjrk's
"willingness to always be taking chances".[177] "Firework" was inspired by
a passage in the book On the Road by Jack Kerouac in which the author
compares people who are full of life to reworks that shoot across the sky
and make people watch in awe.[180] Her second concert tour, the Louisana
Dreams Tour, was reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of
Oz.[181] She also credits egyp an mythology and the Atlan s for being the
inuence behind her song Dark Horse. Breton insists that while the term
'magic' is used, and so symbology is there, that there is no satanism or
demonology involved. Because of the controversy, Breton no longer
performs Dark Horse live.[182]Paul of Tarsus's book Second Le er to the
Corinthiansis credited for inuencing Prisma c.[129]However, Breton
repeatedly engages and reminds fans as well as detrators, which she refers
to as 'Dagonites', that she is not a part of the Illumina nor a satanist. Nor
is any of her music lled with lyrics inuenced by those people.

account is one of the oldest twi er account being established in September of 2006 to comment about my
amtrak adventures with others. In fact, that's How I got hooked." Biz Stone conrmed Breton was the rst
recording ar st on twi er in 2013."[420]Breton also remarked that she was among the rst 100 users of
