SENIOR ASSASSINS 2015

OFFICIAL RULEBOOK
WELCOME TO THE GAME, ASSASSINS.
The 2015 game of Senior Assassins is being run by Alex Haraus and Ian Reid,
with Tim Grobe as a technical director. He will be responsible for uploading
kill videos and photographs to our website nvhsassassins.weebly.com and
managing most everything that all classes can see. Ian and Alex are the
head assassins, responsible for creating rules, giving verdicts when it comes
to questions, assigning targets, and determining kill validity. They are the
two behind nvgameleader, the email that will be used to communicate with
players during the game. Information regarding targets and kills will not be
revealed to Tim, and he is not allowed to make in-game rule decisions.
Therefore, he is allowed to play the game alongside you.

The process
Your first target will be assigned via e-mail on Sunday around 6:00 PM, and
you will receive a new target at the same time each week you advance. Their
name and photograph will be provided. Rounds do not begin until 12:00 AM
Monday morning, and will continue until midnight on Saturday - you have
until then to send us confirmation of your kills. At that point, the round will
end. You will have Sundays to rest, research, and strategize. A list of the
dead will be posted around noon each Sunday.

How to kill
Get liquid water on your targets body or clothing. Simple as that. Accomplish
this fairly and you will advance. Once you have vanquished your classmate,
submit evidence to the head assassins via e-mail at
nvgameleader@gmail.com as a photograph or (preferably) video
immediately. If you are killed yourself, you must submit to being
photographed. You are honorable players and shall act as such. Clear video is
recommended, though, as some targets may not submit. Remember, though
- although your target has been downed, your assassin is still hunting you.
Good examples of assassin-worthy weapons are: water guns, water balloons,
natural water formations, pools, and cups of water. The key to being an
assassin is to be stealthy (also, be sure not to damage your targets
belongings. Backpacks do not qualify as clothing, so getting their backpack

doesnt count. You may only wear one backpack at a time - wearing multiple
may result in disqualification).

How to advance
Abide by the rules, kill your target and survive until the end of the week. YOU
WILL HAVE ONE SHOT AT A SECOND CHANCE IF YOU SURVIVE BUT DO NOT
KILL YOUR TARGET. This is called a by. Once your by is used, you will have
no second chances, and will be eliminated if you fail to down your target
again. After a by, you will be assigned a NEW target. You will not continue
hunting your old one, so as to avoid giving advantage to those given bys.

How to win
When all but two assassins have been eliminated, an interesting situation is
presented. The final two, in years past, get assigned each other as targets.
This, of course, presents a dilemma - they either both hide or both get each
other at the same time, which is awkward and difficult to verdict. To solve
this problem, the final two assassins will have to hunt down and eliminate
the head assassins. Whoever successfully kills both Ian Reid and Alex Haraus
first will have effectively defeated every other player, and will be crowned
the King or Queen Assassin. During the final round, neither assassin will be
hunted by anyone - they will just have to eliminate the head assassins faster
than their opponent.

Rules
All rules are to be followed. If you do not abide by the rules you are
disqualified and your money is forfeited. Be a good sport, and remember
what McBride would do. All rule violations are to be submitted to
nvgameleader@gmail.com.
1. You do not talk about fight club.
2. You DO NOT talk about fight club.
3. Rounds last from 12:00 AM Monday to midnight Saturday.
4. Kill submissions must be received no later than 12:00 AM
Sunday.
5. NO PROPERTY DAMAGE. If you damage over $50 worth of
anothers property because of this game, you will be disqualified.
Regardless of how much it costs, you must repay in full the cost of
damages.
6. NO PHYSICAL CONTACT. You may not attempt to disarm or touch
your opponent at anytime. No physical force may be used against your

opponent at all. If you intentionally touch and harm an opponent, you

will be disqualified.
7. NO CIVILIAN CASUALTIES. Do not get water on people who arent
playing the game. No one likes getting assassinated for no reason.
8. Leaving town for more than 48 hours during a round will result in
disqualification, as your assassin will have less time than other players
to assassinate their target.
9. Illegal activity is prohibited and may be terms for disqualification.
If someone is accused of acting illegally while playing, the head
assassins will determine their fate. This means you must follow all
traffic laws while in a vehicle and all other laws at all times.
10.
Attempt to bribe us and you will be disqualified.
11.
Body guards are legal, but may only be used to block water
as human shields. They may NOT have any contact with or attack your
assassin, and are permitted to only stand in the line of fire. If any water
touches you, youre out!
12.
There are no shields permitted besides the body guards
and/or a single umbrella (ella ella eh eh eh). Backpacks count as a
shield - if you are wearing a backpack, you may not have another
shield to protect you.
13.
Be careful about the language you use when playing this
game. Kill, assassinate, and other violent words can easily be
misinterpreted by those unaware of the game (hearing IM GONNA
KILL YOU screamed out the side of a car window tends to give people
the wrong idea for some reason), and we dont want to scare the public
or put anyone in an awkward position with the law. And, please refrain
from profanity. Were a classy class (at least in public). Please note the
About section on the website to educate yourself on the cultural and
political sensitivity of the game you will be competing in.
14.
Getting water on the assassin pursuing you does nothing.
Just avoid them.

15.

Banned weapons:

- Any substance other than 100% liquid water (no vitaminwater,

bodily fluids, or juice). This is to prevent stains.
- Ice
- Snow
- Anything that looks like an actual weapon (such as realisticlooking, black water guns)
- Spitting (water or otherwise)
- Xploderz
- Shotguns

Knives
Pickaxes
Pianos
Chandeliers
Any weapon referenced in the game of Clue

16.
If you kill your prey at any of these locations or times,
IT DOES NOT COUNT:
- Neuqua Valley property and Neuqua Valley-sponsored events.
The roads bordering both campuses are not categorized as property.
- The Remax parking lot next to main campus from 6:45 AM to
2:55 PM on school days
- On their way into or at work or places of religious practice
- Property of medical facilities (if you have proof of a reason to be
there).
- Inside their house (if uninvited). This includes garages. You may
only enter houses and garages if invited in by a member of the residing
family.
- Anytime on Sunday
- Anytime during spring break. The round prior will end on Friday,
the 27th of March, at midnight. The next round will begin on Monday,
April 6th, at 12:00 AM.
- From 7:25 AM on May 8th to 3:00 AM on May 9th (prom). After
prom is free game no matter where you are, except for Sunday (as per
the rest day).
- Inside a car (if uninvited). This follows the same rule as the
house. You may only enter a car if the owner of the car verbally grants
entrance (this is to avoid water being splashed into open doors and
windows and ruining the interior of the car).
- Inside places of business (stores, restaurants, etc.). We dont
want to cause a scene. Parking lots are fair game, except for the
parking lot of Black Tie Formalwear (because of promotional deals).
- The skate park does not belong to Neuqua. Therefore, being
assassinated in this parking lot is fair game at all times.

Its the game weve waited three years for. Fight fair and fight hard,
assassins. Only one of you has what it takes to come out on top. To whoever
that may be:

we look forward to seeing you in the final round.

Good luck.
