the problem occurred to you)
NOTE: PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES IN THE ORDER THEY ARE
WRITTEN!
PLANNING
Problem: (state the problem, in the format of a question, according to the Aspect 1 in
Planning)
Hypothesis: (state it in the form if then)
Variables: (list: The Dependent variable just one;
The Independent variable just one in the next line
The Controlling variables more than one in the next line)

Materials: (list each one of the materials needed, each one on a different line)

Procedure: ( - list one step at a time,

- number each step,
- every time you start a new step, start a new line
- write each step as a directive, NEVER USE THE PAST
TENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Start the procedure with a directive on how to effectively control the
controlling variables that you listed above please refer to Aspect 2 of
planning
- Include, as many times as appropriate, directives on which data will be
collected and how to do so please refer to Aspect 3 of Planning
- also, remember to say record your data every time data are to be
collected
NOTE: Do not forget, in your procedure, that you should use at least 3
Trials every time you collect data!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DCP
DATA:
Present all data (quantitative and qualitative) that you collected; too many
observation are better that too few. It should be convincing that the
experiment took place and that data are real! The looks dont count at this
time refer to Aspect 1 of DCC
CALCULATIONS:
Now it is time to do all the necessary calculations refer to Aspect 2 of DCP
and make sure that the calculations are clear, organized and reader-friendly.
PRESENTATION:
Finally, it is time to worry about the looks and the presentation of the final
outcomes, starting with the data from all trials and ending in the final results
please refer to Aspect 3 of DCP. A chart is usually a very suitable way to deal
with this Aspect 3 of DCP.
DEC
DISCUSSION: (refer to Aspect 1 of DEC)
EVALUATION: (refer to Aspect 2 of DEC)
