Congratulations! It is with great pleasure to notify you that your project proposal Creating
Imaginative Playgrounds-Native Butterfly Garden in the amount of $2,000.00 for an
Instructional Initiative Grant, funded by The Education Foundation of Baltimore County Public
Schools, Inc., has been selected by the Programs and Allocations Committee. Each proposal
was scored by multiple judges and awarded based on the projects anticipated contribution to
essential knowledge and skills students must have to be successful in life and employment in the
21st century.
Your project will be showcased at the Baltimore County Public Schools, State of the Schools
2015 Luncheon on April 1, 2105 by the Foundation. Therefore, artifacts will need to be
submitted to the Foundation Headquarters on or before March 6, 2015. An Outlook notification
will be sent to you from dphelps@bcps.org keeping you informed and up to date. Refer to the
2014-2015 Instructional Initiatives Grants Application Guidelines for factual information
pertaining to the awarding of funding, length of project, applicant eligibility and initiative
summary.
