Slow Journaling

Andrea Guillaume

Sometimes the way text appears on

a page is very important.

Slow Journaling
Attends to the appearance of the symbols on
the page.
Asks the journalist to slow down and stretch the
symbols so they fit into the created pathways.
Often encourages a deeper appreciation of the
process of forming words on paper and requires
journalists to revisit the text multiple times.
The completed page becomes an attractive
piece as a whole.
