I have experience in writing press releases and media alerts that have been picked up by local,
national and international news sources. I also have experience in writing for media kits, which
have been used by the DIA. I facilitate media relations, including supervising photo/video
shoots, pitching stories and making follow up calls. I manage the DIA website and make sure
that it is up to date and accurate.
Media Analyst
May 2014-September 2014
PRIME Research (Ann Arbor, MI)
I was responsible for analyzing and categorizing the content of print and online media for
Walmart. I kept track of how Walmart or one of their competitors was covered in the media. I
analyzed various major events, including the Walmart truck accident and the Amazon Fire Phone
release, among others.

Parkside Credit Union (Livonia, MI)
I managed all social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Google+) and increased the number of
Facebook likes and Twitter followers. I created social media analytics reports and gave
presentations on them. I managed internal communication between management and staff. I
helped plan the 2013 Member Appreciation Day events and the 2013 Classic Car Show. In
addition, I wrote articles for member newsletters and blog posts for the website.

Vice President of Chapter Development

My primary responsibility was managing all internal communications. I recorded meeting
minutes and sent them out to executive board. I sent out emails to the entire chapter letting them
know about internship opportunities, chapter updates and other relevant information. I also wrote
for chapter publications, including the Salute newsletter and website blog. I planned the 2014
PRSSA Alumni and Student Recognition Luncheon.
