    Miguel Ángelo Bunarrotti (1475-1564) was an Italian sculptor, painter, architect and poet who is considered one of the greatest artists of the Italian Renaissance. Some of his most famous works include the Pietà, David, paintings on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel commissioned by Pope Julius II, and The Last Judgment commissioned by Pope Clement VI. He was known for his genius as an artist but also had a famous bad temper and difficult personality.
