PTO (Parent Teacher Organization):

Assisted in establishing a PTO as a means of promoting school and community relationships.

Combined parent/teacher/community sign-ups with an Open House evening at BCS. Worked
with a teacher and the Home-to-School Coordinator in setting up first PTO meeting and a
schedule for on-going meetings. Took minutes at meetings and assisted in developing mission
statement, goals and events. Worked with Administration in working through details for hosting
fundraisers and events.
