Ul, PROFESSIONAL CRITERIA For each of the criteria listed below, please provide both a numerical self-evaluation and any pertinent comments about the internship experience. For numerical evaluation, use the following scale Cin A) __4 LEADERSHIP ABILITY (K1, K2, K3, $3, D1, D4, DG - e.g, ability to inspire other, set and reach goals, create positive action, solve problems, etc.) COMMENTS: _ Kelly has worked hard to develop and reach goals. One of her greatest strengths is problem solving which was evident in her interactions with students and their families as she worked with them through discipline issues, B) __4___ PROFESSIONAL MOTIVATION (D3, D4- e. g. clear goals, high level of professional interest and motivation, etc.) COMMENTS: s ‘Throughout her internship Kelly asked for additional guidance and ways to address the components of her duties. = J C) __4___PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS (D2, D5, DG - e.g. sense of humor, poise, self- control, ability to handle crises and stress, honest, etc.) COMMENTS: 7 _ Kelly consistently met all challenges with a sense of self-confidence, determination and belief that any obstacle could be overcome D) __3___ INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS (D2, D3, D4, D4, D6 - e.g. ability to relate to others, work with groups, acceptance of criticism, respect for others, etc.) COMMENTS: (One of the more challenging areas for many new administrators is found in interpersonal relationships, and for Kelly this is one area that will require on-going self -reflection and growth. That being said, | had no concerns or issues with Kelly and her ability to relate and work with others, this is just something that experience generally will help. G) __4___ORAL COMMUNICATION (S1, 52 - e.g. fluency, poise ability to articulate, enunciation, grammar, etc.) COMMENTS: _ Kelly is able to effectively communicate orally with all parties when it is necessary to do so. H) ADDITIONAL COMMENTS (Comments/observations not covered in prior question areas) ‘Overall | believe this was a well thought out learning experience for Kelly, one in which she pushed herself to better understand the role of a principal and the influence and affect he/she can have on the school and community.
