3. ROTOR IMPEDANCE MEASUREMENT, GROUNDFAULT DETECTION
4. TESTING OF PTs, CTs AND ALL RELAYS
5. LOOP CHECKING OF ALL PROTECTION CIRCUITS AND PRIMARY
INJECTION TEST
6. LIST OF RECOMMENDED RELAY TESTING & RELAY SETTINGS KEPT
7. GT BACKCHARGING AND SYNCHRONISATION CIRCUIT CHECKING
8. READINGS OF STATOR CORE,WINDING AND TOOTH TEMPERATURES,HOT
GAS AND COLD GAS ,SEAL OIL TEMPERATURES,GENERATOR AND EXCITER
BEARING TEMPERATURES,GENERATOR FRONT AND REAR VIBRATIONS,
PRIMARY AND SECONDARY WATER ,SEAL OIL PRESSURES.( GENERATOR
PARAMETERS)
9. EARTH SWITCHES OF BOTH GCBs SHOULD BE OPENED .
10. ALL THREE PHASES OF GENERATOR TERMINALS ARE TO BE ISOLATED
FROM GCB AND SHORTED TOGETHER FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TEST.
AT FULL SPEED NO LOAD
SHORT CIRCUIT TEST
11. GENERATOR MAY BE EXCITED IF 90 % SPEED CONTACT FROM TURBINE
CONTROL PANEL ALLOWS TO DO SO.
12. BY INCREASING THE EXCITATION CURRENT,GENERATOR CURRENT
MAY BE NOTED. A GRAPH BETWEEN THESE TWO PARAMETERS MAY BE
