Experience And Observation related to some

unethical behaviours:
1.Dishonesty:
Dishonesty in the business are common
these days, people are more focused on
earning money by any means, though it
would be unethical.
The example of dishonesty is the
infomercials that are telecasted after the
prime shows on television.
Asian Sky shops, TVC etc; are the
infomercials in which people are misguided
or cheated.
"Slim Sauna Belt, use it for 15mins and get a
slim trim belly" by Asian Sky Shop. They
mislead the people and convince them to buy
the product. Even the seller knows nothing is
going to happen to your belly- just sweat!
This is dishonesty.
2.Withholding Information:
You can withhold things such as permission,
emotion or information. You might get into
trouble if you withhold information from your
parents and police.
Withholding information are generally
executed by the business personnel's to
avoid tax.
Doctors withhold information to the patients
if there is a critical information, which can
disturb the patients to avoid panic.

3.Distortion of facts:
To change the natural, normal ,or original
shape, appearance, or sound of something in
a way is usually not attractive or pleasing.
Example would be the current riots held in
city area of Vadodara. Riots occurred due to
the false use of social media to ignite fire
between two communities. This is distortion
of facts.
4.Misleading or confusing communication or
positioning or advertising.
Misleading advertisements are those who
deceive people who are likely to see it.
best examples of misleading people are
Lays chips- people are mislead by the weight
of the packet, product weights 8 grams
instead of 10grams.
clothes cafe(Akota)- Some of the products
are from china, which they labelled as 'Made
in India'.
Advertisements are made illusionary by
-"60% off on all the products" but there is a
specific discounts on specific products.
5.Manipulation of people's feeling.
Example would be Olay.
Olay shows the ageing factor and how to
prevent aging.

People are manipulated, they have sense of

fear about - 'ageing'. Olay portraits there
product as a product that helps to prevent
ageing, "7 sides of ageing".
