To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to verify that Danielle Klassen, a graduating Teacher Candidate from the University of Windsor, has been attending the Campus Ministry Student Mass on campus of the University of Windsor since September 2014. Prior to this time I understand that she was an active member of Holy Trinity Parish in Trail, British Colombia and has received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Since fall 2014, Ms Klassen has been actively involved in the mass. She approached the campus ministry staff very soon after arriving in Windsor in order to become a member of the Catholic community quickly. She has been a reliable liturgical minister and has served as a lector, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, and commentator. Over the course of the academic year, Ms Klassen took part in a faith development program run through Assumption University, Aspire. This program included small group meetings with faith and scripture based discussion where Teacher Candidates shared their faith education experiences, were guided on practical theology and witness in the classroom, and participated in many fruitful discussions as future Catholic Educators. The program also included an online reflection on faith in the classroom. Ms Klassen was attentive and present during these meetings. Her online and in person responses were reflective of a person who has faith as the focus of her life. Ms Klassen has integrated herself into the Catholic student life through Assumption Universitys Campus Ministry. She attends fellowship activities after mass the 4:00 Student Mass where students from all faculties come together to share a meal and talk about their faith. Ms Klassen would make a fine addition to any Catholic teaching staff. Should you have any questions and need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely,
Fr. Paul McGill, C.S.B.
