A LITTLE ABOUT P.H. GREENE

P.H. Greene Elementary is a located in the Clear Creek Independent School


District.

P.H. Greene Elementary has been educating the youth of Webster, Texas since
1976.

P.H. Greene Elementary services students from pre-kindergarten through fifth


grade.

In 2014, P.H. Greene Elementary ranked #21 out of 100 schools in the Houston
Metro Area on the K-12 NICHE survey.

P.H. Greene Elementary is Clear Creek ISDs only creative arts elementary. This
benefits students greatly. Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade
attend drama each week.

Reading: 89% passing
Mathematics: 85% passing
Writing: 84% passing

Students are instructed in small


groups, in order to ensure
individualized instruction.

MATHEMATICS

Teachers utilize best practices in

Students are taken through the


stages of models, in order to apply
learning.

Math is taught through problem


solving with real-life connections.

Teachers instruct students in small


groups to individualize instruction
and meet the needs of learners.

Students work with other learners in


math stations to apply their learning.

SCIENCE and SOCIAL STUDIES

P.H. Greene students participate in an elective each day for 45

minutes.

Drama class one day per week.

CHARACTER EDUCATION

P.H. Greene Elementary implements character education utilizing the six pillars of
character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, citizenship, and
caring.

Cougar Character Rallies are held on the first Friday of every month.

Teachers develop classroom management plans around the six pillars of character.
