CandidatehavinganIITB.Tech.degreeandhavingaCGPA/CPIscoreof8.00(on0
10scale)andaboveareexemptedfromrequirementofGATEqualification.Theywill
be admitted to M.Tech. Programme under TA/RA positions through written test
and/orinterview.
CandidateseligibleforadmissiontoM.Tech.ProgammearealsoeligibleforM.Tech.+
Ph.D. Dual Degree Programme, in certain disciplines/ specializations. There is a
M.Tech.+Ph.D. commonapplicationforM.Tech.andM.Tech.+Ph.D.(DualDegree)Programme.

(a) Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology with First class or 60% marks

(b)MastersdegreeinScienceorequivalentdegree,withFirstclassor60%marks
(55%marksforSC/ST)asdescribedinthePhDInformationBrochure.
(c)Master'sdegreeinArts/Commerceorequivalentdegreewithaminimumof55%

withaminimumof60%marksorequivalentlettergrade(55%marksforSC/ST).
AdmissiontothisprogrammeisopentothosewhoqualifyinM.Phil.EntranceTest
(MET)/GATE/UGCJRF/UGCLECTURERSHIP.
Thoseappearingfortheaboveexamsmayalsoapply.Thosewhoareinservicecan
applyassponsoredcandidates.Theselectionwillbebasedonthequalifyingtestand
