CandidatehavinganIITB.Tech.degreeandhavingaCGPA/CPIscoreof8.00(on0
10scale)andaboveareexemptedfromrequirementofGATEqualification.Theywill
be admitted to M.Tech. Programme under TA/RA positions through written test
and/orinterview.

AdmissiontothisprogrammeisopentothosewhoqualifyinM.Phil.EntranceTest
(MET)/GATE/UGCJRF/UGCLECTURERSHIP. Allcandidatesneedtoappear
forMET2016tobeconsideredforadmission.

Thoseappearingfortheaboveexamsmayalsoapply.Thosewhoareinservicecan
applyassponsoredcandidates.Theselectionwillbebasedonthequalifyingtestand
interview.
M.Sc.Ph.D.(Dual The candidate must have Bachelors degree in Science of minimum three years
Degree)inEnergy duration,with anyoneof Chemistry, Mathematics andPhysicsfortwoyears/four
semesters and any one of the remaining two subjects for at least one year/ two
semesters. The intake to the programme is through JAM followed by interview
conductedbyDepartmentofEnergyScienceandEngineering.
