1. What is the current status of the Issue in your country

Drug trafficking had been happening around the world and it is a serious
problem as these nacotics make people addicted to them. These drugs vary
in effects nevertheless, people believe it as an easy way to feel the ecstacy.
Most of the time, its the people who suffered from stress or others problems,
they might try to find the easy way out of the current situation by taking
drugs. This, sadly apply to the whole world and the feeling of happiness from
drugs will only last for a while for the aftermath thats a lot worse and hard to
cure.
Indonesia is known for its atrocity in punishing the perpetrator of drugs
trafficking from jail to execution. The method is known as the capital
punishment meaning to legally punish by execution for certain crimes.
Nevertheless, this harsh punishment did not stop people from doing drugs as
it can still be found within the country.
Recently, the Indonesian government announced that it will carry out the
capital punishment by executing 11 international convicts for trafficking
drugs. Campaigns for mercy toward the group has been created
nevertheless, the government shows no approval to withdraw what it
decided. Furthermore, despite the fact that you will die if you do drugs,
according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC),
Indonesia has a chance to become a hub for drug trafficking for various
underground organizations.

2. What is your countrys stand on this Issue?

The matter as it stands cannot resolve itself. Even the current law do not aid
to stop the misconduct of drug trafficking. That didnt mean that people do
not value their life, rather, their circumstances might even be so extreme that
led to people decisions for using drugs. As such, our country believe this
problem can be solve by helping people sharing more about themselves and
their problems to release stresses and help them with their problems. We

propose for countries with such problem to create a website or interactive

based program, allowing people to communicate which use the internet to
connect people from around the world. This will then create a hub of
communication which specified the use for releasing stresses which in turns,
led to people to become independent from relying on drugs. All the
participants will be anonymous and use username preferred by them as they
use the program. Then, we suggest dispatching a team of intellects &
psychologists for each arguments between different people to monitor them
talking and help them with various situations. Nevertheless, this method can
only be used for the countries that have an internet.
3. Explain the reason/s for the stand.
The problem itself, if left alone, more people will be harmed both directly and
indirectly from the use of drugs. This included us as one of the countries that
had a record of drug users. As such, it is our responsibity to take care of our
citizens and if our solutions can apply to other part of the world, we would
gladly be the part in helping them.
