80% of the sock need for the year and the money budgeted for socks could then

be put towards other

needed items.
Following our delivery of the socks to Unity project, Mike Stubbs from NewsTalk 1290 in London

interviewed Amanda, our community director, on the success of the project. it was a great way to raise
awareness of our drive and the need for socks in the community.
The fact that we were able to deliver 3785 pairs of socks was very rewarding. We were able to do this

without sponsorship. Our committee was composed of; Amanda Hunt, Larissa Vaientine, Hilary Rock,
Alissa Morrison, Amy Storozuk, Alessia Zonta and Rosette Moore"
