STEP 1

Firstly i placed the photo into

the main focus and locked the
layer so it can move, i also used
the cropping tool is the imagery
was closer up.

STEP 2

Another aspect that we used was colour

correction to make the mans face black
and white, we altered gradient, shadowing,
and the saturation to cause his face to
stand out, in addition this colouring
conforms to the horror genre, therefore the
main focus is dans face

STEP 3

I then downloaded a text and enlarged

it, placing it in the order electric
sheep magazine; used, moreover we
used the colouring of black and red to
conform to what this magazine, giving
a professional feel towards our

STEP 4
After this we successfully attempt to make the box of
text in the bottom left hand corner red, but
transparent, this is an aspect that we found very
difficult, however we did this by getting a separate
image of dan and cropping the bottom left hand corner
of his chin to place on top of the imagery we used, we
used effects to put a transparent layer on top of this,
and used the colouring of red, we then placed this on
top of the imagery that we was working on to create a
transparent box.

STEP 5

we then placed text over this

transparent box to highlight what
would be included within this issue on
the new film the Final Plea , this is an
aspect that we wrote our self.

STEP 6

we placed a white box at the bottom,

as every electric sheep magazine
includes this , and placed individual
text on top, we used the colours red
and black to connoted a sense of
danger as red as connotations of
blood.

 After finishing the magazine there is some aspects that I

found challenging and others I excelled in. The aspects that I
found challenging was I had never used Photoshop before,
and I found it difficult to work out what tools functions
were,however I managed to produce a magazine that looks
professional and very similar to the original electric sheep
magazine, however made it our own original copy. An aspect
that I did find particularly challenging was the creation of
the transparent box within the corner. however eventually i
was able to do this. an aspect that i am really proud of is
being able to create a magazine without ever using this
software before, however i enjoyed the challenge, and glad
that i have gain new skills during my A2 production.
