Hello,
I am a parent representative for a local 18 and under fastpitch softball team and we are
looking for sponsors to help fund our trip to the upcoming USSSA World Series in
Overland Park, Kansas, July 23-28. The team is made up primarily of Waterloo girls
with two girls joining the team from Dubuque and Chippewa Falls. Many of the girls are
hoping to catch the eye of a prospective college scout to further their softball career
while studying in college.
We are requesting monetary donations to help with travel expenses in addition to items
that can be included in a gift bag exchange that we will participate in to showcase our
wonderful town of Waterloo. This exchange will take place before our first game.
Teams participating are mainly from the Midwest and are only a short drive to Waterloo,
where they can include Lost Island Waterpark in their vacation plans.
I hope you will consider being a sponsor for our team. We will travel to Overland Park
beginning Tuesday, July 23.
