Standard 5 Ethics

An educational leader promotes the success of all students by acting with integrity, fairness and
in an ethical manner.

The Administrator:

I chose to include this artifact to demonstrate my competency in ethically issues. I collaborated

with a community stakeholder to organize fund raising to fund a trip to the national USSSA
softball tournament for a local softball team. Much money was raised in a very short amount of
time to help defray the cost of the trip. I created an itinerary for the week-long trip, reserved
lodging, laundry service, coordinated transportation, identified a list of necessities for the
athletes, ordered theme park tickets for all travelers and scheduled bake sales, carwashes,
can/bottle drive and multiple work opportunities for the athletes to raise money. This is evidence
that I can work with the public and manage a large about of money ethically.
