There are various issues which have come to the notice of this office during the implementation of Project Tatang Policy. On verifications of the various complaints and after meeting with the MTNL officials with respect to the said issues , | am directed to circulate the following information for proper implementation of the Project Tarang Policy a) b) 4d) ®) In order to improve customer care, the MTNL is starting the Corporate help Desk for the Income tax Customers. The No. 1508 will be available on working days from 10 hrs to 17.30 hrs. After office hours, the customer care no. will be 1503. With respect to the billing issues, the same has been resolved now and the bills for the Mobile Connections and the 3G Data Card will be generated up to 31.7.2012 as per the tariff plan. Thereafter the bills will be regularly issued on monthly basis .The individual users will be responsible for the payment of the said bills. In case of discrepaney found in the bills with respect to the actual usage , the same may be intimated to the customer care at No, 1508. The Tariff plan for the Project Tarang Policy is enclosed herewith, Allcalls from mobile and landline connections and 3G Data card services will be as per the tariff plan (enclosed herewith). Payment over and above the said tariff plan will be the personal responsibility of each individual officer/officials and this office has no role in making the said payments and eventually disconnection in case of non-payment, Residential landline bills in excess of Project Tarang tariff to be paid by individual user. The Group A officers will continue to draw the reimbursement in respect of expenditure incurred on account of one residential landline phone and one mobile connections as per O.M dated 14.11.2006. and O.M dated 9/7/2007. The reimbursement will be confined to landline/mobile connections of BSNL/MTNL only. Broadband connections to the landline telephone at residence will be with unlimited connectivity The officers/officials who are retired and who has been transferred out of Mumbai region where there is change in Telecom Circle will have to surrender the mobile SIM and 3G Data Card alongwith SIM. In case the same is not surrendered, the list of transferred officersiofficials will be forwarded to the MTNL Authority for the disconnection of services. The Group A officers who have been provided with the landline and broadband connections at residence are required to make the outstanding payment if any and No. | Mum/CCIT/Admn.1/Project Tarangj20 12-13 3 surrender the telephone connections alongwith modem before leaving the station under intimation to this office. 2) At present there is no guidelines with respect to the repairing /replacement of Blackberry Handsets as the same were supplied by the BSNL . However the MINL authorities has promised to take up the matter with BSNL and the same will be intimated accordingly. h) It is also decided that the Database of all the Income tax Officers/officials shared by the MTNL authority for the proper implementation of the Policy. i) The regular Bills for the Landline Telephone at Offices are to be paid by the respective Building-in-charge except for the offices at Aaykar Bhavan, Old CGO Complex and World Trade Centre for which the Bills will be paid from this office. This office will not be responsible for any disconnection for the non payment of the outstanding bills of these offices except Aaykar Bhavan, Old CGO Complex and WTC. {) The bills pertaining to the office and landline connections showing outstanding on account of annual monthly service charges are to be ignored which are being paid by the department, k) Thete were many complaints regarding the present services not covered by 3G facilities. The complete database has been forwarded to MTNL Authority for the services to be covered under 3G services. In case of any further complaint with respect to the 3G services, the officers/officials may please contact directly the MTNL customer care at 1508 and 1503. 1) With respect to the poor connectivity at various buildings of Income Tax , the matter has been taken up for the installation of Boosters/BTS which will help in improving the network connectivity m) Thete are many complaints regarding the receipt of SMS from the MTNL. The individual officer/offieials are requested to directly call the MTNL Customer care instead of this office. n) This office will not handle any service related complaints .The individual officersiofficials are requested to directly call the customer care at 1508 during office hours and 1503 after office hours.
