ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION
Intraperitoneal bladder rupture is extremely rare. Patient usually presents with peritonitis and the condition is revealed
during operation. The morbidity and mortality is quite high, reaching 80%. Exploratory laparotomy is performed for surgical
repair. There has not any data on the incidence of intraperitoneal bladder rupture due to normal labor.
CASE REPORT

showed masive intraperitoneal fluid and bladde with internal echo. Air fluid level and ground glass appearance were found
in abdominal x-ray. The diagnose of peritonitis due to bladder rupture was established. Emergency laparotomy was
performed. Bladder rupture grade IV (dome and psterior wall of the bladder) was recognised intraoperatively. Bladder repair
was carried out.
