Good Afternoon, you've been asking for it and January 19th your interest in learning more is a
go.
You will spend the day in technology integration sessions ranging from productivity to Student /
Parent communication, hosted for the most part by your peers. From PowerSchool to Google
(almost everything) we have sessions for those whom are just getting started to those who want
to take their 21st Century integration up several notches.
During the day we'll be utilizing a more recently available technology called twitter (I'm sure
you've heard about it) to communicate amongst ourselves. What are you learning, how will you
apply it, how will your students benefit. Think of the twitter space as our virtual whiteboard of
collective thoughts and something some of your peers are using with their Students and Parents
today. Please find the section below "Signing up for Twitter" to learn more prior to our to the
19th we would hate for you to miss out. To participate we will be using the Hash Tag
#GLEdTech, don't worry if Hash Tags are new, we'll bring you up to speed in the morning.
To get yourself signed up for your sessions please use the SignupGenius link below. Signup for a
session in each time slot (8:00a - 8:40a, 8:45a - 9:25a, etc.) unless you're leaning about
Assessments in SchoolNet those sessions are longer.
We will be getting started at 7:30a with sessions starting at 8:00a. Lunch will be on your own
from 12:00p - 1:00p and we'll be wrapping up at 3:00p.
