Background
Tomography is a noninvasive imaging
procedure in order to
visualize the internal
structures of an object
by sections.

PDMS:
Polydimethylsiloxane

Phantom
Place
PDMS
elastomer
and curing
agent

Set hot
plate to
150
degree C

Form
Aluminum
Foil into
cylinder

Pour the
mixture
and a
black
bead into
mold

Degas the
container
for about
15 min

Repeat above steps with little change in step 3


where scattering material ( baby body powder)
was added and continue similarly to make two
other phantoms(with low scattering and high
scattering).

Peel the
aluminum
foil with
caution

Place the
mold on a
hot plate
for 3-5
min
