On a beautiful October
morning, the Tour de Rock
cyclists rode into the Lambrick Park gymnasium. The
entire school was on hand
to cheer on the twentytwo cyclists as Mr. Luchies
and Michael Siemens presented them with a cheque
for $4500. The biggest
roar from the crowd came
for former Lambrick Park
graduate, Louise Hartland
who introduced her amazing team. After travelling

for two weeks and covering

over one thousand kilometres from the top of Vancouver Island, the riders were
overjoyed to nally be home
in Victoria. Prior to the riders arrival, fteen students,
two teachers and a former
Lambrick Park student
shaved their heads during
the lunch hour. Pizza was
on sale for the hungry students and all proceeds were
donated to Cops for Cancer.

I lost two things today: my

hair, and my
girlfriends love for my
locks.

May It Be and the band, conducted by Mr. Ham, played In
Their Honour and the Last
Battle. Carey Mark and Josh
Park played The Last Post
during the moment of silence.
