WELCOME BACK.Good afternoon,everyone.

I am Lee Yee Bun from ALLTG daily news report

.Coming this month, the Chinese all over world including fellow Malaysians whose ancestors are the
Chinese, will be celebrating the Moon Cake Festival. Apart from exchanging and partaking in
savouring of those sweet moon cakes which come in various shapes and flavours , there will also be
displays of a lot of colourful lanterns by both children and adults, in every nook and corner of the
country.

To some extent, today the Moon Cake Festival has even become a significant cultural event that
reflects and symbolizes the unique multiracial and multi-culture background that Malaysians are
proud of. The Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia even described it as "Truly Asia" in its
promotions of Malaysia as a premier tourists destination.
Besides, being one of the most important Chinese festivals, Chinese people celebrate the mooncake
festival by carrying out some traditions. The most common traditions done by Chinese people during
Mooncake Festival are eating Mooncakes while viewing the moon, lighting lanterns, floating lanterns,
burning incense, and many others.
Today lanterns form a big part of the celebration, as they are to remind the people of the time they
used lanterns as their only source of light. Kids in particular love this aspect of the festival and are
often seen roaming around with lanterns in the shape of animals There are also lantern parades during
the Chinese New Year celebrations, so if you see any such parade advertised just consider what time
of year it is.
Now,let us watch a live scene conducted by ms.APY.TQ,,now is weather report time.
