Cast:
Madison Maddy Elbrook (18-24, Female): A lighthearted optimist with a passion for
dance and athleticism. As a dancer, she is looking for work and finding little. Although
she is sickly as of late, her intensity and determination keeps pink in her cheeks. She
admires hard work and strong ethics above all else, believing that the good in people
will always prevail. She cherishes community and family while maintaining a powerful
individuality and drive to succeed. She has a strong sense of self. If she senses that
another person is taking advantage of her kindness or generosity, she will try to solve
the situation without being abrupt or rude, to a certain extent. She tries not to hold
grudges, even though she holds them well.
Daniel -last name will vary by actor ethnicity- (18-27, Male): The loving, respectful
boyfriend of Maddy. He believes in her passion for dance and respects her career path,
even though he values his developing medical career above everything else in his life. It
is in this way that he may seem false or dishonest, for his ambition influences a lot of his
behavior.
Andrea Andy Carter (18-24, Female): A brooding, cynical girl with the desire to party
until she dies--even if self-indulgence is the cause of her untimely demise. A nihilist with
a sharp intellect, she numbs herself with social scenes full of strangers and exotic
drugs, all but wishing to pass out one night and never wake back up. However, a grain
of hope still exists in the back of her mind, driving her from day to day.
Derek -last name will vary by actor ethnicity- (18-30, Male): The aggressive, longterm loverfriend of Andy. Derek sleeps around, circulates drugs, and makes his living in
sin. Andys intelligence and strength keeps him drawn to her, although he is one of the
primary forces keeping Andy married to her vices--he being one of them. When
agitated, Derek will usually get loud and physical with little reaction time in between his
fiery actions and the event. Andy can calm him down better than anyone, but still faces
his wrath occasionally--always to both of their dismay.

Mandy (18-24, Female): Sharp and witty, verging on psychopathic. Shifty eyes and
double-edged dialogue characterizes Mandy whenever she surfaces and comes out to
play. She always has a purpose, and this purpose makes her movements steady and
quick. Genius and determination play a large part of her personality, making her a force
to be reckoned with. She never makes mistakes--not because she is a perfectionist, but
because of her intense and unalienable brilliance.

The Other Woman (18-26, Female): The woman with whom Daniel is cheating with,
perhaps one of many.
Andys Friends (Young Adults, either gender): 6-7 strangers who bum drugs off of
Andy and Dereks connections, usually found passed out at parties or in other seedy
areas
Joe Clark (Middle Aged +, Male): The Landlord. Vocal role
