MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF THE DANAC PAGRANG-AYAN

FARMERS & TREE PLANTERS ASSOCIATION HELD LAST JANUARY 8, 2014 AT
BARANGAY DANAC WEST BARANGAY PLAZA, DANAC WEST, BOLINEY, ABRA
1. CALL TO ORDER
An organizational meeting of the Danac Pagrang-ayan Farmers & Tree Planters
Association was held in Danac West, Boliney, Abra on January 8, 2014.
The meeting convened at 8:00 oclock AM, President Eduardo Linggayo
presiding.
2. INVOCATION
The meeting was blessed through a prayer led by Nora Boy-ag.
3. ROLL CALL
A Roll Call of the members was caused by the President in order to determine
the presence of the majority of the members, which is necessary to constitute a
quorum to validly undertake the elections.
A quorum was then announced based on the attendance sheet previously signed by
attendees.
4. MEETING PROPER
a. REPORTING
A financial report was presented by the Treasurer Delfin M. Gumpad, highlighting
therein transparency in the organizations financial transactions. The treasurer
presented the financial transactions undertaken by the organization.
b. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The President Eduardo Linggayo explained that according to the Constitution-andby-Laws of the Organization, the term of officers expires in three (3) years; as
such the current set of officers will end their term on January 8, 2014. The
President emphasized the need to conduct an election the soonest possible time
in order not to impede the implementation of projects and services.
The President with the unanimous accord of the members then called the body to
elect a Committee to facilitate the conduct of elections. Right there and then the
body unanimously approved the composition of the Election Committee to be
composed of:
Fernan Gunday
- Chairman
Benito Salang-oy
- Vice Chairman
Randy Banatao
- Member
Afterwhich, the President relinquished the floor to Fernan Gunday, Chairman of the
Election Committee to preside over the proceedings.
The positions to be filled up were read. Nominations were then made by the body
and the election proper by Viva Voce votes proceeded smoothly resulting to the
election of the following set of officers:

The meeting culminated by a short speech delivered by the President-elect, Mr.

Eduardo Linggayo which centered on the sorry state of our natural resources and on
how the organization will be able to help in addressing these issues by promoting
environmental responsibility and socio-civic consciousness to the entire municipality.
Before ending his speech the President-elect thanked the body for their continuously
believing in his leadership.
5. ADJOURNMENT
There being no more business, the meeting is adjourned at 11:45 am.
