1a1 children will understand the nature. Children will learn science, math,and art. They will learn to observe the weather and changes in weather
, the changes of trees .They will learn the texture, colors and the sizes of leaves. They will count leaves also to match and sort the leaves by
their attributes. In art projects children will do leaf painting. Children will learn colors and how to share materials and space.
How does this lesson connect to the big idea and to the overall unit?:
They will be able to observe the real world, their sourroundings , and to make connections beetween the people and the nature.

Language Objective
What text structures, language features, and vocabulary will students need to use to express their understanding of the content?:
They will repeat and use new vocabulary words. The students will be more sensitive to the nature. They will show the movements of dance and
repeat the words of the song.

1d1Large group time; Good morning song, calendar,picture(introductory statement) introduction to the theme based on their prior
knoledge (calendar, months of the year) using the KWL chart
1a1 Children will learn about the nature and weathers.The change in weather.They will learn months of a fall.Children will be able to touch real
leaves to diferentiate the texture the color and and size of leaves Then we will sing the song Autumn Leaves Are Falling Down (new
vocabulary),we will dance together (gross motor skills,belonging to community.)
1a1,2c1 Children will be able to make connections between the nature and the weather,the importance of nature and appriciate what the
nature gives us.they will think about the changes in weather that accur throughout the year and also on autumn months
(September,October,November.) 2a2: Children will learn song Atumns Leaves are Falling Down and dance together,which will teach them
to understand the cocept of acceptance and belonging to community and will develop their gross motor skills.
Then transition to small groups by adult guidance (using diff. Colors of apple pictures their names on it.)

EFFECTIVE: Teacher has developed criteria by which levels of student learning will be assessed. Teacher has planned how criteria
will be communicated to students.
1. What criteria will you use to assess your students learning? How will you communicate the criteria and ensure students understand
how their learning will be assessed?:
Children will be assessed by informal assessments.by asking them questions about the topic.They will be able to repeat the words of the song,
also the vocabulary words.They will point the leaves when asked,they will look at trees and collect leaves when go outside.I will use the KWL
chart to ask questions. Children will answer questions,and also point on their paintings and collages.They will do the movements of dance and
repeat some words of the song.
