Introduction to Teaching
9/30/12
Reflection Paper
My lesson plan was teaching 3rd graders on the Constitution in a History
class. I used cooperative learning in order to compile a teaching order
so 3rd graders would understand and learn how our Constitution works
versus the rule of kings.
I used inquiry, not only to see if the students understood what they were
learning, but also to see if they were gaining knowledge in the subject,
and were grasping the difference between kingly rule and why the
people were willing to fight for self-governing and rid themselves of the
king.
I used blooms to put my objective in the proper order, so I would be able
to reach my goal, with the lesson plan. It seemed to me that I had to
use, cooperative learning, inquiry, and blooms in order to have a
lesson plan that worked well, and allowed myself to reach my goals.
There isnt much that I would revise, because using all the tools
together, gave me a well-rounded lesson plan that I could use over and
over again for other 3rd grade classes.
