Lightwriter
The Lightwriter is a small and
lightweight text-to-speech device
that allows users to type what they
would like to communicate, and
have that communication read aloud
by the device.
This could be helpful for autistic
students who have trouble
communicating their thoughts and
ideas. This would allow them to
participate in more activities
throughout the classroom.

Choiceworks
Choiceworks is an app for Apple products that
allows users to create and follow a set routine.
It helps guide children when they feel strong
emotions or when they are unsure what to do.
This could be helpful in the classroom if it
were used to show students with autism the
set schedule for the day. It could also be
helpful if the student was experiencing strong
emotions and needed to be reminder of what
the correct response was.
