Remarks regarding PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) dearness allowance scheme1) AICPIN (All India Consumer Price Index Number) for industrial workers based on 1960
= 100 is used for grant of compensation to the employees of PSUs for price rise.
2) DA instalments would be released 4 times a year with effective from 1st January,
1st
April, 1st July, 1st October.
3) DA would be paid for increase in AICPI above quarterly index average of 1708 to which
the revised scales of pay are related.
4) Quarterly averages is computed as under:
