Thesis?
Within any discourse community youll have disagreements but I want to understand why even
when the discourse is delivered successfully it still fails. Using my select discourse community I
will analyze different examples of discourse and use my previous knowledge of discourse
communities to create a link between failed discourse and disagreement amongst the discourse
community.
Answer?
Taking lexis, appeals, and formality used I can show how and why certain discourse even when it
is delivered successfully it still fails causing a disagreement amongst members of the discourse.
Just think about there are numerous issues within science especially within biology, people
claim this and that with the evidence to prove that their claims are correct yet there are still
doubts. They provide pages long of documents supporting their claim including lexis for their
discourse community the correct appeals and formal language yet they disagree.
Audience?
Pre-professionals seeking degrees or even already maintaining a degree in the field of biology to
help them better address discourse so that there would be fewer chances for the discourse to fail.
