The launch will be marketed on The world Show by Nikki B

on Khaya FM on the 21st June 2015. There will also be a TV
interview on Morning Live with Sam Marshall on the 23rd June
building up to the date of the main event. Flyers will be
distributed in live music restaurants and music shops. Posters
will be placed at the venue as the date of the event approaches
and it goes without saying that the event will also be promoted
on social media.
Special invitations will be issued to the media and tickets will
be sold by the band manager (attendants will order from him)
and tickets will also be sold at the door.
Professional people will be hired to operate all equipment that
will be used for the event. Thus reducing risks such as fire
hazards from pyrotechs and trip hazards on stage due to cabling
etc. This will ensure the safety of the performers on stage, as
well as the safety of the audience. There will be EMS services
available and a fire truck for instances if there should be a fire
or any form of danger that would result in injury of any
persons. The venue is also OHS compliant; it has all the signs
required for public use (such as entrance and exit signs) and fire
extinguishers.
There will be no need to source out a waste management
company because the venue has waste bins and functional
restrooms and people will be urged that these facilities be
utilised.
Security, sound and lighting technicians, as well as a decorating
company will be hired for the night as stipulated in the
Budget section.
Security will be employed for access control and to safeguard
the parking lot, as well as crowd control.
Security will take care of this department as well. There is free
and safe parking at Bassline and should it get full, there is
another parking lot on Henry Nxumalo Street.
Signs will be used to designate VIP parking, disabled parking
and general parking.
