Activity:
Telephone
Start out by telling a student
a message. They whisper it
to the person next to them
and tell them to pass it on.
They pass it on to 3 more
people and the person at the
end tells the story. If the story
reaches the last person
correctly, then they all win a
penny. Do this activity 2-3x.

Activity:
Common features
Ask questions and have
students stand up as you
ask. Sit down after.
1. You were born in the
summer (June/July/Aug)
2. You like to play video
games
3. You like to make
bracelets
4. You like to read
5. You enjoy telling stories
6. You like strawberries
7. You like the Fly Guy
books

Activity:
Duck toss letter game

Activity:
HA!
A lot like Zoom except
you have to repeat what
the person before you
said and add in your
own HAs. Start out with
saying HA to the person
next to you. That person
has to repeat the HA
and add up to 3 HAs
after to the next person.
Continue around the
circle.

Activity:
Counting by 10s game.
Have the students all
stand and count by
10s.When the get to
100, whomever says 100
sits down. All students
who reach 100 sit down.
The one left wins a
quarter (dollar, worth 100
pennies)

Ex: Mrs. Whitestone loves to

play with playdough.
I like to eat purple pancakes
with pasta.
Macaroni and cheese is my
favorite dessert.

Think of a letter. Say a

word that starts with that
letter and pass the duck
to a student. ex: R,
RUN. They have to say a
word that starts with that
same letter. Half way
through the game,
switch the letter to
another. That way
students dont run out of
words because theirs
has already been said.
