Tatamagouche Fire Department Rescues Pourquoi the Pig
A 200-pound Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, named
Pourquoi, has almost drowned in his flooded
garage on Saturday and he didnt know if he
would make it out alive. The water was up to his
chin, said owner Hanna Hunziker of Brule N.S,
which was a small community that was located to
the north of Halifax. He would have drowned.
Hanna Huziker called the firefighters to help her
rescue her dearly loved pig, which lives in a
separate garage on her property. The garage was
all flooded with snowmelt which made a river on
her property, which was in part because of how
the road and driveway was plowed. The
firefighters from the Tatamagouche Fire
Department responded to her, and got a rope
around Pourquoi and rescued the pig by pulling it

A passionate Arizona Coyotes fan received a standing ovation when at a game on Saturday night his son, who
had been serving a tour in Afghanistan, surprised him right before the game started. The father, Ronnie
Urman was invited to drop the puck at the last game of the season for the Coyotes. As he made his way to the
center of the ice the stadium announcer says that a surprise guest has arrived. Then behind him, his son, Sgt.
Dan Urman appears. Ronnies expression next is one of awe as he hugs is son, suddenly however Ronnie falls
flat on his back and the two remain there still hugging on the ice. The video of the two being reunited, and the
fall has gone viral receiving over 500,000 views on YouTube since it was posted on Saturday.
