AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE
I, MENDEL A. MEDINA, of legal age, Filipino, married and a
resident of R. Castillo St., Agdao, Davao City, under oath state THAT:
1.
I am the Operations Manager of SNN Taxi Corporation with
business address at F. Bangoy St., 6th Avenue, Agdao, Davao City;
2.
I am the authorized representative of the private
complainant in criminal case entitled "The People of the Philippines
versus Philip Irwin Navarez for Carnapping docketed as Criminal Case
No. 79, 290-14 pending before Regional Trial Court, Branch 10, Davao
City. A copy of the Secretarys Certificate pertaining to the said
authority is hereto attached as Annex A;

The accused has already settled the civil aspect of this
case with the private complainant by paying the amount of P50,000.00
while the motor vehicle subject of this case has already been returned
to the private complainant;

4.
In view of the foregoing, I finally manifest that the private
complainant now completely and absolutely exonerates the accused
Philip Irwin Navarez from any liability in connection with the abovementioned criminal case and that the corporation is no longer
interested, and hereby desist, in prosecuting the said criminal case;

5.
That I execute this Affidavit of Desistance so that the
above-mentioned criminal case be immediately dismissed and
considered finally closed and the bond posted by the herein accused
be released to him;

6.
As such, I am respectfully praying that the aforementioned
case against the accused be dismissed and finally closed.
