There are some instruments for measuring creativity :
Provide data for evaluation of individuals or groups , guiding teachers in planning and implementing appropriate instruction ; Help remove the creativity of the domain of the mysterious and inaccessible ; identify creative potential , among others . There are different methods for measuring creativity among the best known ; The tests of divergent thinking , as developed by Guilford , The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking , which have been adapted and validated for the Brazilian culture Wechsler The Test of Creative Thinking - Divergent Production of Urban and Jellen . Another form of testing that is developed with the aim of assessing psychological traits , personality , motivational , biographies , interests and styles of creativity , such as : Group Inventory for Finding Creative Talent (GIFT ) , Group Inventory for Finding Interests ( GIFFI I and II ) , Preeschool Interest Description ( PRIDE ) . Besides these are described in the literature many cheklists of inventories and personality attributes , the subjective judgment by a group of experts from the creativity of individuals and the use of judges using predetermined criteria .
