Home
This is a really great home page. I like that you gave all the basic information so people know
exactly what you are referring to. This was an awesome detailed description of what any person
who looks at your portfolio will get to see and also what you want them to know about you and
your journey as a writer in this class. I think you did a good job at telling exactly what purpose
you were conveying (progress) and you also touched on a couple of other purposes in your
introduction too. Great job! I really think this is a great way to introduce people to your page and
I dont really have anything I think you should change or add.
Letter to Olivia
I happen to like this page a lot. What I really enjoyed was your description of your letter to
Olivia and how you gave a quick summary of what you said in the letter because not everyone
will take the time to read what you wrote in your letter. This is a good layout for this page. I like
that you kept it very simplistic to show off your content more. I dont really have any
suggestions for anything that you want to add to this page because I think your pretty much hit
everything that you were supposed to talk about in it.
Discussion Forums/ Replies
This was a good introduction for people who are not particularly familiar with this course such as
anybody who is not Olivia or taking her class. I like how you told exactly what the assignment
entailed. One thing I think you should add is your personal experience in doing these
assignments and what you liked or disliked about completing the forums and replies. Another
thing that you need to be sure of adding is the actual forum posts and the responses so people can
actually have an example of what the assignment is and so that you can get the maximum
amount of points from Olivia on your portfolio.
Daybook Activities
This was a really good page! I think what I liked most is that it was laid out in a good format and
also that every one of your uploads had a small introduction to it which is one of the things that
Olivia stressed on having in our portfolios. You did a very good job at showing your progress as
a writer in each day book entry which was one of your main three purposes. One thing you
should think about adding is your personal experience in doing all of your daybook assignments.
You could put in your introduction for the page. I think it would be a nice addition because it
would show more of your journey through this class.

benefit from improvement. Each note should specifically address the additional content on the
page, meaning the introduction to the page and the description for each item. You may also

In-class Assignments
I particularly enjoyed how you told the reader what the in class assignments entailed. That would
be very useful for people who are not in this class and do not know what we usually do when we
complete these assignments. A major part of this page that you need to include is the uploads
from the in class assignments we completed. Also, remember to include a caption for what the
assignment was about and you experience in doing them. I think that after you put those
assignments on your blog that this page will be just fine because this is a good start.
Research/Preparations
This page is one that I think will be very unique compared to a lot of the other blogs done by
students in our class. I like that you titled it Research/Preparations and included your genre
proposal because it was good for showing the progression of your writing journey as you stated
in your home page. I think that you have a good introduction for this paper but I think that would
be much more beneficial for you and the reader to include how this assignment went for you
because it would help in getting across that whole progression purpose you are trying to
convey.
First Drafts/Peer Workshops
I really enjoyed your page about first drafts and peer workshops a lot because its a lot different
than the way I think other people will present their drafts. I think that putting all of your first
drafts together in one page because I get to see how you wrote in your for first drafts and then
your progression to your next drafts. In your introduction I think you did a good job at telling
your experience writing your first drafts. Also the captions you included in between the uploads
were also a good addition to the page. Great job!
Second Drafts
This page was also pretty unique and a really good way to show your progression in your writing
skills. I think that your introduction of this page was actually kind of interesting. I like how you
put a lot of your experience and opinions into what you wrote. You did a good job at making a
personal connection with the reader I feel. You also did a good job at writing youre your
captions on your uploads too. I dont really have anything to add to this page I feel that
everything you have posted is well done and that you accomplished your purpose in this.
Final Drafts/Final Reflections
I think that both of these pages were a great way to end your portfolio. In this page you showed
how you came to this conclusion and you also made some really good interesting points. I
enjoyed your lengthy descriptions for your drafts because I felt personally involved in what you
said. You came off very relatable and these pages were both quite enjoyable to read. As far as this
page goes I dont have much to add. I think you did a good job making sure your objective was
reached and you made it both interesting and fun along the way.
