Operations and Algebraic Thinking Use properties of operations to add and subtract. For example, 2 + 6 + 4 can also be thought of as 2 + 10. (1.OA.3) * Add and subtract within 20 and fluently within 10. Use strategies to add and subtract. Facts that add/subtract 10 (4 + 10, 16 - 10, 19 - 9, etc). (1.OA.6) * Add and subtract within 20 to solve word problems. (1.OA.1) * Understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem. (1.OA.4) * Find the missing number in an addition or subtraction equation. (1.OA.8) Numbers and Operations in Base Ten Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or less without counting. (1.NBT.5) * Add within 100. Two-digit plus one-digit, two-digit plus a multiple of 10, and two-digit plus two-digit. (1.NBT.4) *

Measurement and Data Organize, represent, and interpret data with three categories. (1.MD.4) Order three objects by length. (1.MD.1) Tell the length of an object with a whole number of units. (1.MD.2) Tell and write time in hours and half-hours. ( 1.MD.2)
