1. Description of the host organization

Microsur specializes in IT equipment sales and repairs. Especially game consoles and laptop
computers. They also provide consulting services on IT solutions for the companies and the
private clients. Microsur is a small, family business. Their employees have large knowledge
about IT sector and a great ability to set and maintain a good relationship with the clients.

Panagiotis is very communicative person. He is willing to learn and he works a lot. He can work
independently and is very motivated. We really enjoyed time which we spent with him.
4. Participants opinion about his/her personal & professional development
I was placed at Microsur. As an intern i was working many times in servicing laptops by
manteling and dismantling the parts, working on various hardware control and repair activities
and assist in software installations. I was totally satisfied with my working activities and my
tutors (Daniel and Rosa) for their kindness and patience. I am overall satisfied from the program
considering the cultural and labour experience i gained in Seville.

Microsur specializes in IT equipment sales and repairs. Especially game consoles and laptop
computers. They also provide consulting services on IT solutions for the companies and the

Oana is an excellent trainee. She learns very quickly. She is willing to work and shows a lot of
interest and motivation. Oana behaviors very professionally and is very independent at work.
She is an example of excellent trainee. We are sure that shortly she will be fully prepared to open
her own company.
I was placed at Microsur. As an intern I had to assist in servicing laptops by manteling and
dismantling the parts, working on various hardware control and repair activities, participate in
the warehouse inventory and assist in software installations. The work and the most friendly
tutors J have ever seen (Daniel and Rosa), made my dreams come true. I feel much more self
confident and overall satisfied.

He is a charming person. He has practised Spanish and we have practised english as well. He has
learned about blogs and web paginas. It has been a great experience for us.

I was placed at the company Amusinvi located in Seville and I was trained on practical issues
regarding Networking Installation and Website Construction. Also, I had the opportunity to
learn about Internet Marketing issues that were very interesting. The two-weeks training was a
great new experience and gave me new ideas and prospects on working at the IT sector.

She pays a lot of attention at her duties. She is very friendly and nice person. She always wants
to help. Even the language barrier wasn't a problem, somehow we were able to communicate
and understand each other.
I was placed at Semseo a company providing online marketing services. With my workmate
we worked on setting up a new web site using CMS tools and designing the appropriate
graphics. Also we were given the task to propose the 4th year anniversary logo of the company.
The opportunity to work in a real company under the guidance of our tutors allowed us to
extend our knowledge. The effort to get used with the cultural differences was a valuable
experience.

Konrad is very professional trainee. He is willing to learn and really motivated to work. He has
integrated into our team very well and has been very helpful. It was pleasure to work with
Konrad.
I was placed at Semseo a company providing online marketing services. With my workmate
we worked on setting up a new web site using CMS tools and designing the appropriate
graphics. I was overall responsible for the website project. I also worked on the 4th year
anniversary logo of the company. The two-weeks training by semseo was a valuable experience,
which allows me to see things with a different perspective. The project was for me a success.

I was placed at Instalaciones e Integraciones Informtica (i-Tres) a computer installation
company in Seville. With my workmate we worked on setting up 70 new computers for
immediate use by the Seville City Hall employees. The work was amazing. I feel much more self
confident and I know that I can successfully work abroad.

computer installation company in Seville. With my workmate we worked on setting up 70 new

to participate in this project. The experience I got during the two-weeks training is of great
importance for my future plans.

I was placed at Cibercenter an IT education center. As an intern I was assisting in searching
and downloading educational videos for use in various educational programs. I also participated
in the development of a website by adding content to some web pages. The work in the company
was a valuable experience allowing me to develop my IT skills, to learn how to adapt in new
environments and to meet new cultural habits.

She has a good attitude. She needs more training.

I was placed at Yoitel a mobile phones and computer sales and maintenance company. My tutor
Angel help me with the cultural and labour adaptation. I was working mainly in typing Spanish
text and assisting in repairing PCs. The experience was amazing and I have a different prospect
on how to work in IT environments. The challenge to adapt in a new cultural environment was
worth the project participation.

I was placed at FreiPC. I was helping in replacing defective parts of computers and laptops. I
learned to work with laptops and mobile phones using special tools and techniques. My tutor
Ricardo was a great help and he helped me feel comfortable. Summing up, the experience from
the working environment, the contact with Spanish people and the cultural issues of Seville,
were for me inconceivable.

The basic service of Informatica dmc is reparation and renovation of computers and notebooks.
They also replace various computer components. Company provides service of installation and
configuration of computer operating system and software.

He has adapted to the company very fast. He is willing to learn and motivated to work.
I was placed at the company Grupo DMC a company of sound and vision equipment, located in
Seville. I was assisting in the repair of PCs by replacing defective parts and installing various
software suites. During these two weeks I realized the culture barriers and I experienced how
difficult it is to incorporated to the companys rules and culture. It was a worth living experience
that I am thankful for.

TUTORING & MONITORING

1.
At the begging of each project, the members of euroMind assist students in their working
placements in order to facilitate the introductory period. Later on, throughout the project we
always offer our assistance. Trainees and their guardians are welcomed to direct their questions
or doubts to the team. euroMind team is always ready to help students and to solve the
appearing problems. During the project, euroMind is also open to any suggestions and exert
itself to make trainees visit and work satisfying, comfortable and enjoyable.

To make sure that the trainees obtained the promised work experience, euroMind provide them
with the on-going tutoring & monitoring service. Monitoring is done on a regular basis in their
work placements, evaluating their work performance and their achievements.

EuroMind takes good care of successful communication between companies and trainees. Each
evaluation of work is aimed at improving the quality of cooperation. Each party is thoroughly
checked and assessed and the necessary improvements are introduced. Moreover, euroMind
mediates in this supervisor-trainee collaboration by translating and solving language-connected
complicated matters.

The euroMind is always ready to react immediately in emergency, though unlikely, situation.

To validate the acquired skills, the trainees, at the end of their stay, received complete proof of
their participation in the project by means of several methods of recognition:

Additionally, we also provided support with the preparation of the final report and monitoring &
evaluation sheets.

CULTURAL & LINGUISTIC PREPARATION

1. Spanish course: teaching method & participants outcomes
The group was given very intensive Spanish course by Yasmin Calle Garcia their Spanish teacher.
Yasmins teaching methods were very effective as she made learning fun. Through games and
interactive activities she created an enjoyable atmosphere in the class. Our Spanish classes can
be described by means of 2 words: dynamic and practical! We use an interactive method of
teaching based on learning by practicing. That means that grammar is covered as much as
possible by using practical situations, so speaking and actively using the language is central.
After twenty hours of intensive course students had a written exam.
2. Cultural activities
At the beginning of the groups stay, euroMind invited the group for a Seville Tour. During this
activity the participants had opportunity to get to know one of the most beautiful Spanish cities
according to most. There was an amazing list of sights worth to visit. Seville is a colorful and
vivid city that can be distinguished by a mixture of Roman reminiscences and Moorish
traditions. During Seville tour the participants were shown many Spanish symbols and
marvelous monuments, such as The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, The Royal Tobacco
Factory, General Archive of the Indies, Plaza Espaa, (the Spain Square) in Maria Luisa Park and
Torre de Oro (Gold Tower).

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

1. Provide a brief summary of the main aims, content and planned outcomes of your project,
including an assessment on the level of matching between the initial aims and the final
outcomes.
12 Greek trainees were obtaining experience, broadening their professional knowledge and
improving their skills for 2 weeks in December 2014 in IT sector.
According to the feedback from the trainees and their employers, we can claim that the project
was excellent and met expectations from all the participating parties.
euroMind team did their best to ensure good communication among the sending institution,
trainees and receiving organizations at every stage of the project, which contributed to the fact
that this project provided an enriching experience to all the participants.
The trainees had a chance to see the way of working in Spain, get to know a lot of useful
information, gain new professional experience to be implemented in their job back home, and
also enjoyed their stay via various socio-cultural activities the euroMind team prepared for
them.
2. Please provide a general evaluation of the project

euroMind team did their best in order to deliver the best professional and cultural experiences
to the trainees of the project, being always ready to help, give advice and solve any problems or
doubts24/7.
The trainees were fully satisfied with their work placements. They gained much needed
professional experience abroad, which is highly appreciated and sometimes even specifically
asked for by todays employers.
We have no doubt that our trainees will use their new knowledge and experience at their
current work in Poland, or to increase their chances in the labour market and dazzle their future
potential employers.
Moreover, the trainees learnt the basics of the Spanish language were able to work in a multicultural environment and proved they had the ability to work individually as well as in a team.
euroMind team was extremely satisfied with the trainees involvement in the project and
personal interest in whatever they participated in.
