The Spread of Buddhism

Buddhism officially started in India, but

throughout the years, it has spread all over the
world. When Buddhism was passed down to China,
they changed the Buddhist to Chinese. Buddhism
would develop a unique and different character in
different Asian countries. At first, Buddhism was
actually an educational system, but now people think
of it as a religion. Buddha didnt want anyone to pray

for him because he wasnt a god and he wouldnt be

able to hear the prayers. People now think Buddha is
a god and pray to him. Another difference is that,
Buddhists, back then, werent supposed to eat meat,
they were vegetarians. Now, Buddhists eat meat.
Some stuff has changed over all those years about
Buddhism.
