Content Life in Ancient Rome during the Roman Empire. The decisions made by three emperors,
Augustus, Claudius and Nero.

List the objectives for this lesson. Students will understand how three Roman Emperors ruled
Ancient Rome. They will understand decisions pertaining to war and the people of Rome.

How will you teach the content? Students will choose an Emperor in the beginning of the game.
He or she will read real scenarios that occurred in Ancient Rome. The player will weigh his or her
options and make a decision based on facts. The game responds by telling the player if he or she
is correct or incorrect. The game explains the decisions made to the player. When the game is
over, the player understands what decisions the emperor made and how they affected the people
of Ancient Rome.

Additional materials you will use and how will you use them. Students will use tablets or
computers to play the game which is linked in my website.

Evaluation Strategies Students will be evaluated through teacher observation, within the game by
answering questions and after a culminating activity to demonstrate their knowledge of the
objectives
