2. What do you think life was like for people who lived between the years of 1930 and 1940?
Great because the percentage of U.S employment went up majorly which helped people get
jobs.

3. Based on the chart, how do you think the time period from 1930-1940 compares to today?
No, today our employment percentage is very low, so it wouldnt compare to the employment
percentage in1930 and 1940.

place during the great depression and she would hear many children crying along with
mothers.

She might believe that there is a way out of this and that there is a rainbow at the end of every
storm meaning that the depression is the storm.

She cares about her children how theyre going get through this depression.

The great depression is a time when jobs were out that many people needed, Crops stopped
growing. Many people were left hungry with no home or water. Many men had to migrate leaving their
families and go look for work elsewhere.
