Response to Group Discussion about Multi-Genre Project
After speaking with my group about possible paths to take when
starting this project, I have a better idea of what I want to do. I am
doing my project on how media impacts suicide rates. As of now, I
want to incorporate a social media post into my project as one of my
genres. I will have someone get cyberbullied on the post. From there, I
will have them write a suicide note and tell that he/she is committing
suicide because of being bullied on the Internet. Another genre I will
use is an obituary from my made-up persons funeral. I will still need to
choose two more genres and one from group six. I think one of them
may be a police report containing information about my characters
suicide case.
