Individual Portion of Skittles Project
The Graphs do indeed reflect what I expected to see; mostly even distribution of all colors. Of
course there is one color there is the most of and one color there is the least of. My data
compared to the data of the whole class matches up pretty well for the most part. For example; in
the bag that I bought, the Red, Yellow, and Green skittles were the most abundant and those same
colors were the most abundant for the whole class as well. One thing that does not match up is
the total number of candies in my bag compared to the Mean of the class. The Mean of the class
is 59.8 and the Standard Deviation is 1.83. I had a total of 64 candies, a total of more than two
standard deviations away from the mean. My bag is special because it came with an usually high
number of Skittles compared to that of the class as a whole.
