January 2013-present PE Aide
Cold Springs Elementary School, Montecito, CA
Assisted PE teacher during classes. Worked with students on gaining the skills necessary for the
particular sport we were working on. Engaged with the students by leading them through warmup and often participating in class with them.
Spring 2015
Fitness Center Volunteer
Vista Del Monte Retirement Community, Santa Barbara, CA
Shadowed and assisted the volunteer class instructors. Participated in and eventually taught
fitness classes to the seniors of the community.
2014-2015
Resident Assistant
Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA
Planned section and residence hall programs, both educational and social. Implemented programs
designed to create community among the women in my section, building an atmosphere of love
and support. Counseled and advised residents. Trained to respond to emergency situations.

Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Santa Barbara, CA
Interacted with the children by side-walking or leading the horses during lessons. Made sure both
the horse and the child were calm and happy throughout the lesson.

Planned and engaged in birthday parties for children which included making
balloon animals, playing games, cutting cake, and opening presents. Sold buffet
entrance and other merchandise to customers. Dealt with any customer questions
or complaints in a positive and friendly manner. Handled event bookings.

Student Athletic Trainer
At Bakersfield College
Logged 70+ hours as training intern. Used IFC machines to rehab athletes. Taught exercises and
stretches to athletes to help them prevent or rehabilitate injuries. Worked at multiple football and
basketball games. Taped or wrapped ankles, knees, wrists, fingers, etc.
