|lused this activity before a mini-lesson to activate/build students’ prior knowledge. After the lesson, |
repeated the activity to help students review and practice. Before the first class, | cut the paper into
individual flash cards. i gave each student a card. When a student found a partner, he/she asked them to
name the graph and use for the graph. The student then checked the other student's answer before
responding to the other student's card, When both students had responded, they traded cards and each
found new partner. After the activity, the students were able to complete a graphic organizer to take
notes with a very limited amount of help.Pictograph
